Global Week

Against torture 2025

23-26 June

Many Voices, One Movement. #UnitedAgainstTorture

Join us for the Global Week Against Torture 2025, a worldwide online event organised by the World Organisation Against Torture (OMCT) and the SOS-Torture Network, in collaboration with United Against Torture Consortium - a consortium of six leading anti-torture organisations (OMCT, APT, IRCT, FIACAT, Omega Research Foundation, and REDRESS).

From 23 to 26 June 2025, survivors, activists, experts, and human rights defenders will come together in a powerful week of solidarity, learning, and action.

This year’s edition marks two important milestones: the 40th anniversary of the UN Convention against Torture and OMCT’s 40th year of fighting against torture - a moment to celebrate progress and confront persistent and emerging challenges.

Through shared knowledge, global solidarity, and collective action, we can build a world free from torture. Whether you are a survivor, activist, expert, or ally - your voice matters.

Stay United Against Torture. Stay Resilient.
